An Awesome Two-Week Itinerary for Vietnam
In August I went to Vietnam for two weeks. It was actually my first time in Asia and it was incredible to see this whole culture I’d heard so much about but never actually experienced.
I saw the crazy roads, the mad nightlife and the caring and friendly nature of the locals. In this two-week itinerary for Vietnam I tasted delicious pho for the first time, experienced 15p bia hoi and witnessed the beautiful landscapes.

2 Weeks in Vietnam trip itinerary
Time was tight but I wanted to see as much as possible, without seeing too much and spending all my time worrying about my next sleep and how I was going to get there.

What to see in Vietnam in two weeks, South to North
- Day 1 & 2. Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi Tunnels, Mekong Delta, markets
- Day 3, 4 & 5. Nha Trang –pagodas, markets, egg baths and snorkelling tour
- Day 6, 7 & 8. Hoi An – shopping, beaches, delicious food and drink
- Day 8 & 9. Hanoi – shopping, water puppet show, the lake
- Day 10 & 11. Halong Bay Cruise – one night on a Junk Boat
- Day 12, 13, 14 & 15. Ho Chi Minh City – back there again
Day 1: Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City
We flew into Ho Chi Minh City from London on Saturday to arrive on Sunday for 1pm. The flight had cost £675 each about three months before.
